Middy was created as a test; to find the capabilities of oak and of my untrained craftsmanship potential. The steam bent semi-circles were mounted onto bases cut from recovered floor boards - waste not want not.

These were the second and third lamps ever to leave the workshop, destined for their place beneath the Christmas tree graced with my brothers names.  Only two have ever been made, so they're a bit special.
