epiphany

Designed and made purely for one purpose - to help rid my mother of the fear ever dropping a stitch again due to poor lighting. Made from locally sourced oak and standing six feet tall, it provides the perfect light for making all those new born baby blankets she manages to churn out.
Leaving things to the last minute isn't a good idea, especially when they don't go to plan. Originally designed with one continual curve to suspend the light bulb, a snap of the wood later and the plans were changed. Christmas eve was spent locked away crafting a way around the problem. A magical moment passed and this new design was born.
Why the name? If placed above an arm chair you look to have a 'light bulb' moment of sudden realisation.
